House Tour

A house is always a work in progress it seems. But i guess that's a good thing because if everything was just right and never changed then you may get bored with. There are some projects that get started and finished within weeks or months of moving in and other projects well, that never get finished or even rooms that have already been changed 3 or 4 times! Well here is my work in progress! I'll show you some before, after, and in progress pictures :) Enjoy! Oh and feel free to give ideas where needed :).

Notice there is no cabinets under all the counter space...this use to be an eat in kitchen i guess :)

Front room/Dining room: BEFORE: Fortunately it was a move in ready house

We had a dilemma when we first looked at the house...there was no dinging room and there wasn't enough room to have the family room and dining room in the same room. Well, at this time we were only a family of 3 so we made the future baby room into our mini family room. This room has served 4 purposes and I have 3 out of 4 pictures of the uses. So this pic is use #1.
Use #2: Baby Logan's room!

Use #4: Sewing room/music room. Before this use #3 was a play room because we moved Logan up to Carter's room. We hope to turn this into a baby's room again in the near future...but for the being Mike and I will enjoy it being our hobby room :)
The basement! BEFORE: A fireplace that needed some TLC...well, actually needed to be torn out cause it didn't work :)
Basement: So glad a married a handy man :)
Basement: In progress...still need trim, ceiling and nicer lighting fixtures, but we've lived like this for about 3 years and made it quite comfortable.

Basement: The wall with the FAMILY on it is actually where the fireplace use to be! Now behind that wall is a little vegetable and wine cellar :)
Carter and Logan's room! I love the wood paneling in here, it's all original by the builders which the house stayed in the family until we bought it n 2009.
Here's a pic from the bed side and before we moved in. We haven't really doe much with it all, just added more toys and another bed for Logan.
My scary master bedroom lol...Mismatched odds and ends and nothing that i loved. But for our 7 year anniversary present I got to make the master bedroom over!
A breath of fresh air! I barely spent anything, new duvet for $35, old pallets, glass paint for old vases. Even the furniture was given to us ad i just paint it black.
