Custom order window

I was so excited and honored to create this custom ordered window. The reason behind this gift is such an amazing story. I was asked to incorporate 3 verses if possible, Numbers 6:24-26, Jeremiah 29:11, and 1 Corinthians 13:13. I had n idea in my mind and really hoped that it would turn out as well as it did in my mind! :) Enjoy!
I used a paint marker and traced the words that i had printed on the window.

The E is the monogram for the last name :)

Upcycled Cupboard door LOVE

This one i made just for me (I love it when i get to do that :). The cream colored cabinet door ad rustic look is original to the door. I used chalkboard paint on the middle. Below is on a old pallet strip with metal office/paper clips. I used jewelry glue to glue them on.

Here is a cupboard i painted for a friend's dining room. She wanted the blue o match cobalt blue. She put it in a mustard yellow kitchen. It turned out lovely. I hand painted/stenciled the verses lettering.

Another cupboard. I painted this one white and then aged i w/black. The lettering in vinyl.

Farmer's Market Projects!

This was a labor of love! I started chipping off paint to make a smooth service but then fell in love w/the look

I added chicken wire and knobs to complete this message board....I wish i had a place in my house for it!

Love love this one! Especially because it was my first sale at the market! It is gray with black edging for a rustic look.

A cute simple chicken wire message board

Sage green w/white edging for that rustic look

P.S. I love you! I white washed this window frame...so simple.

Old TV tray chalk board!

It already had the antique edging. I added a braided twine rope to the back.

My very own crib chalk board easel! I use this to advertise my booth at the markets.
My favorite! His faithfulness is so amazing :) This is crackle painted two different shades of ivory. This has just been sold also!

Pallet decor!

I Have been wanting to make a pallet piece to go above my bed. So here you go!

This was quite the work out taking this pallet apart. I took a hammer and a rubber mallet and hit all the slabs out.

The slabs nailed together

White washed

Here if you look closer you see that I took a pencil and drew out what i wanted to paint.

Used black pain for them stems and yellow and robins egg blue for the berry flowers. I used a circle foam brush.

I Love you more is what my hubby says to me when i tell him that I love him. I traced stencils and then painted it black.

New FAMILY window

This was my first attempt at creating a velum look on a window w/out the price! Usually you buy velum for $15 plus! So first i used my friends cricut (i need to buy my own :). I cut out the word FAMILY about 4.5 inches tall and taped it on the front of the window (in the pick above you are actually seeing the back of the window.
Here i used a sharpie paint marker and traced over the letters (remember, i painted on the back side of the window, the letters are taped on the front) Painting the back gives the front a smoother look.
Here is what it looks like before painting the window frame
And here it is completed!

Here is a close up of the paint job. I used crackle paint to get the old look which i prefer for window. Make sure when painting w/crackle paint to lay the object flat or the crackle paint and top coat will slide down off the frame...i learned that the hard way :)

Monogrammed Dish Towels

Stencil and a FabricMate fabric marker from Hobby Lobby, $2.99
Two kitchen hand towels from target $5.99. I looked all over for a flat material so the marker would color on it nicely. I am thinking this will be a usual wedding present from me :)
The direction on the marker says to take a cloth like a pillow case and place it over whatever you colored and iron over it help the marker soak in deeper and then feel free o wash it.
